Find Unique Cultural Gifts At LA’s American Indian Arts Marketplace

Find Unique Cultural Gifts At LA’s American Indian Arts Marketplace

Nov 06, 2017 Dr Kristina Nelson

With holiday season approaching, it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to go to get your shopping done. Unique gifts always show the most thought, and if you’re looking to impress with your presents this year, take a gander at LA’S American Indian Arts Marketplace, held at the Autry Museum of the American West on November 11th and 12th.

Great Cultural Gifts

At Autry’s American Indian Arts Marketplace, you’ll get to experience the largest Native American crafts fair in SoCal, featuring over 200 Native American artists from over 40 tribes. You’ll get to see awesome artwork, sculptures, pottery, basketry, wood carvings, and more. Plus, plenty of these unique cultural crafts will be up for sale, so you can purchase a great gift for that hard-to-please shopper.

Besides the shopping you’ll be able to accomplish while you are at Autry’s American Indian Arts Marketplace, you’ll also get to see plenty of live performances, sample great food, witness live demos, and also see Autry’s award-winning theatre company, Short Play Festival from Native Voices.

Some of the menu selections at Autry’s American Indian Arts Marketplace include Auntie’s Fry Bread, which is a light, tasty fried bread. Also, the café, Crosswords West, will be on hand to serve more food for purchase.

Tickets

Tickets cost $14 for adults, $10 for seniors, $10 for students, $6 children, and children under 3 are free. To learn more about Autry’s American Indian Arts Marketplace, please visit their website here.
